I met Aurora in the late summer of 2017. A petite 19 year old from Russia, she had already built up quite the resume having been featured on Twisty's, Collette, and X-Art to name a few. I was intrigued at the idea of shooting with an adult film actress and what her experience would bring to the photo session. The idea was simple, a glamour nude beach shoot. We arranged to meet at the beach and allotted 3 hours for our session.
The quiet, tranquil young woman became an energetic, playful teenage girl.
When I finally met Aurora, her temperament was not at all what I expected for someone her age. She was calm, collected and acted very mature. Once she got in front of the camera, a transformation happened. The quiet, tranquil young woman became an energetic, playful teenage girl.
I had Aurora cycle through various outfits and bikinis for the shoot in various states of dress and undress! I noticed a rather naughty flare that Aurora emanated during the shoot and that's visible in the photos; either as a result of her experience as a porn actress, or the fact that we shooting nudes in public, or maybe both! Her enthusiasm and energy made the photo session of the most fun ones I've ever done.

Even though there are technically no laws against public nudity in Seattle, we were still cautious about being seen by other people visiting the beach. Save for a few people off in the distance, the beach was mostly empty which allowed us to shoot without too much worry. At one point we found a Lime bike sitting on the trail and I suggested she pose next to it for some photos. Then I suggested she strip naked and mount it, which she did. Just as I was about finished photographing her, a cyclist rolled by and saw us! He smiled said "hello". We smiled and said "hello" back and he wished us a good evening and went on his merry way. Afterwards, Aurora and I looked at each other and a laugh.
We ended up shooting till sundown. That summer Seattle had received horrible smog from fires down south that made the air thick and smokey. It did create a diffused sunset which looked pretty cool in the photos.
